Hi everyone, I did a post about 10 things You May Not Know About Me last June during a time where I experienced a large increase in blog traffic. Now I have almost 150 facebook fans, planning a giveaway for when I reach fan #150. Tell your friends about this blog and have them like the blog on facebook! Here are ten more facts about me you may not know about me:
Ten More Things About Me
1. I no longer have a best friend, I simply have a few good friends now. Unfortunately some things don't last forever.
2. I am a business Major at Drexel University through their online program and became a senior not too long ago. I will be graduating next year!
3. I have a job that is demanding and often stressful, but I enjoy parts of the job.
4. My marriage is not as secure as some think. Working on making the marriage last, but I am not sure if we will last. That being said, I believe in giving everything as much effort as I can. I don't want to give up too easily. Makes me sad that I am going through a hard time there, but some of this is my own fault. I hope to beat the odds in my family and have my marriage stay intact; most marriages in my family don't last.
5. I am a very independent person and hate relying on others for things.
6. I am a perfectionist, especially with school and work. In some ways this is great and in other ways this perfectionism is a major flaw.
7. I am a Christian, but a gay friendly one that is pro gay marriage, and leans towards the liberal side!
8. In general I am a frugal/practical person and buy as many things on sale as I can. Especially food and clothes. I have no shame in using coupons or shopping off sale and clearance racks.
9. I lost my grandmother on my stepdad's side recently due to COPD complications. Cherishing the time I have left with my remaining grandfather and grandmother on my mom's side of the family. I will be heartbroken when they pass away.
10. I am in general a very honest person and work hard to be honest in a way that I don't come off as mean. I hate lying and I hate when people tell me lies! Honesty is the best policy.

10 Things You May Not Know About Me
Hi everyone, I see a lot of new people visiting my blog these days. So glad you all had enough interest to read my writing. Most of the increased traffic is thanks to my first blog follower Leah who has an excellent blog that I follow, read, and comment on. Here is her blog below and thanks Leah for mentioning me:

Since there are many new people visiting my blog, here are 10 things that many of you may not know about me:
10 Things About Me
1. My favorite colors are Blue, Purple, and Black.
2. I have been married for almost three years.
3. My mom recently got married for the third time.
4. I had to overcome a few inner demons in my teen and early adult years. Still a work of progress on some of these things. This will be the topic of my next few posts.
5. I used to play Viola and Oboe in high school. I almost majored in music in college.
6. I enjoy listening to music and singing, especially rock music of varying types.
7. My best friend is younger than me and we talk to each other all the time and hang out regularly.
8. I love dyeing my hair and have been since I was 19.
9. I play the Wii and the Sims 3 sometimes.
10. I enjoy cooking and baking. Most of the time I try to make and eat healthy food that I enjoy. That being said, I do occasionally bake or make some treats.

A non-poetic post
Hello fellow readers! I thought I would take the time now to explain about this blog. Especially now that I know others are reading what I write here.
I write this modern style poetry here in addition to in private to express myself. Since I am a perfectionist, I do heavily edit before posting to ensure good quality posts.
What I write about is based on what I have been through and what I have seen in my lifetime. As someone who is guarded to almost everyone in real life, poetry and this blog is the one place I can express my mind and my innermost feelings. I hope you get to know me better through this blog and I care about everyone here.
Thank you all for following this blog and for reading this blog without discarding me or my feelings. Feel free to comment at anytime in anyway you would like. Writing is my true passion and I hope to be an author one day.

Zig Zag To My True Self
I go back and forth on my path through life,
Feeling as mixed up as a tossed salad.
I am trying to learn how to always be myself,
Even though what I am is not accepted.
I may be different, but I still need to be loved,
I may not be you, but I am okay as I am.
There is no need for me to constantly question,
Your judgements shouldn't shake me up.
Going back and forth between pleasing others,
And pleasing myself is exhausting me.
I may not be a conventional or "normal" person,
But I am still a good and valid person.
There are parts of me I still have trouble sharing,
Due to fears of rejection and ridicule.
While my friends are able to accept me already,
My family is light years behind them.
In the past, my few, true expressions of myself,
Have been thown away with the trash.
My family laughed at my feelings and my views,
I was expected to be them in my body.
That is why I have been unable to share myself,
With family for the past several years.
My sexuality is sinful to them as are my opinions;
My politics and choices are all "wrong".
Despite all of that, I am sick of playing pretend,
I long to be my self when with my family.
They are supposed to love me more than others,
I am linked to them by blood and DNA.
It is time for me to be myself everywhere I go,
Time to stop being an actress in my life.
I am not playing a part in a play written for me,
I am the director of my unwritten destiny.
Going to change and stop being afraid of them,
Since this is my life to live to the fullest.
I want to live with no regrets and in total honesty,
I am going to live unapologically now.
